If you cannot log in or join a raid

1. Record the exact error, time and time zone, platform, client version and raid mode. Note whether login fails or only matchmaking fails.
2. Check for a current official maintenance notice and a pending game update. Restart the game and launcher after an update completes.
3. If the client appears damaged, use your platform's built-in file-verification option where available. This can repair local files; it cannot fix a server outage.
4. Compare other services on your connection. A local connection test can narrow the problem but cannot prove that the game servers are healthy.
5. If it persists, send those details privately to Gaijin Support. Do not post passwords or account tokens.

The correct Steam community hub is app 2887580. Community reports can show similar symptoms, but they are not a confirmed outage diagnosis or an official restoration time.

Will a disconnect protect my equipment?

The October 9 update, 0.4.0.182, says equipped gear is protected when a connection problem prevents a player from spawning into a raid. That is a specific condition, not a promise that every mid-raid crash or disconnect refunds gear. Keep the incident details for support instead of assuming compensation.
